Eugene Rollin Stahl

Eugene Rollin Stahl, 67, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center, with his loving wife by his side.
Born Feb. 23, 1945, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Rollin F. and Blanche L. (Heiston) Stahl.
He attended North Hagerstown High and he also attended Maranatha Brethren Church, in Hagerstown.
Eugene had worked for Mack Trucks and Pangborn over the years. He was self employed since 1986 and was recently employed at Central Precision.
He was a member of the B.P.O Elks No. 378 and the Eagles Inc. in Waynesboro, Pa. Eugene loved to golf and was compassionate about animals.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda A. (Diffenderfer) Stahl; three sons, Douglas Eugene Stahl and girlfriend, Lisa Lady, Gregory Eugene Stahl and wife, Tammy (Lehigh), Robert Eugene Stahl and wife, H. Eyvonne (Forsythe), all of Hagerstown; several stepsisters; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several beloved pets.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a half brother, William Cottrill
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
