Evelyn Mae Herrington

Evelyn Mae (Royer) Herrington, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born July 10, 1932, in Huntingdon, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Cleo R. and Agnes E. (Pyles) Royer.
She retired after 28 years of service as a spiraller in the electronic industry at Angstrohm Vishay in Hagerstown.
Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Richard R. Herrington; a daughter, Linda L Bishop; three sons, Richard W. Herrington, Douglas B. Herrington and Christopher S. Herrington, all of Hagerstown; two sisters, Peggy J. Myers of Rockhill Furnace, Pa., and Norma Myers of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Rest Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, is in charge of the arrangements.
