Fenton L. Palmer age 54 passed away in Atlanta, GA on January 31, 2013.
He was born July 31, 1958 in Vicenza, Italy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred L. and Hertha L. Palmer.
Fenton was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School, class of 1976. He was a graduate from the Airline Career Academy, Kissimmee, FL, and started his career with Northwest Airlines in 1979, and worked at airports in Washington, D.C., Tampa, Honolulu, Norfolk, Memphis, and Minneapolis. After Northwest merged with Delta Airlines, he transferred to Atlanta, GA, the city he loved most of all. Fenton was a worldwide load planner for the airlines. He was the first employee in his section to transfer from Minneapolis to Atlanta. Fenton loved to travel. His favorite trip was to Egypt. He was known for his unique personality, notably for his wit and sense of humor.
He is survived by his two sisters, Maggie Pietrolungo and husband Rick of Greencastle, Paula Weaver of Hagerstown; five nieces, Kelly Tabler, Danielle Tabler, Ashley Davis, Karrah Weaver, Kelsey Weaver; and his special Delta family in Atlanta, especially, Alison Yee.
A memorial service was held in Atlanta on February 4, 2013, honoring his life.
