Florence Elizabeth Turner, 90, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at her son and daughter-in-law's home.
Born Feb. 10, 1922, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Susan (Weaver) Kershner.
She attended Church of Christ at Hagerstown and The Good Shepherd Ministries.
Florence is survived by a son, David McSherry Sr. and wife, Catherine, of Hagerstown; a sister, Wanda Brown of Hagerstown; a brother, George Kershner of Hagerstown; grandchildren, David Lee, Curtis Lee and Stacy Jo McSherry; great-grandchildren, David, Samantha and Emma; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald J. McSherry; second husband, Donald Turner; and two sisters, Mary and Alice Kershner.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Gerrard Fess officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour before services.
