Floyd Junior Price

Floyd Junior Price, 75, of Hancock, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center, while surrounded by his loving family.

Born June 9, 1939 in Bedington, WV., he was the son of the late Earl Martin and Helen Lois (Butts) Price.

Floyd was a veteran of the United States Airforce.

He was a member of Calvary Temple in Williamsport as well as the Williamsport American Legion Post 202.

He retired from Over the Road Trucking Company as a truck driver.

Floyd enjoyed putting puzzles together as well recording mix tapes for his friends. He was an avid Nascar and sports fan, with the Yankee's being his favorite!

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 17 years, Rev. Emma June (Coleman) Price, who died on Aug. 22, 2012; four brothers; one sister; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Floyd is survived by his daughter, Joyce Robinson and her husband Dallas of Martinsburg, WV; a step daughter, Catherine Rummel and husband James "Jim" of Hancock, MD; one sister; two brothers; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Robert Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors.

Friends will be received from 4-6pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
