Franklin Alan Murray

Franklin Alan Murray, 75, of Hagerstown, passed away at Doey's House on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Born on July 17, 1945, Franklin was the son of the late Daniel Franklin Murray and Emma Fink. He is also predeceased by his wife, Beverly Ann Murray.
Franklin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Fairchild for 20 years, and then for Northrop Grumman for another 10 years.
Franklin was a 33rd Degree Mason for the Scottish Right as well as a member the Moose Lodge. He raced cars in his younger years and helped his son out when he started racing. He was also an anmial lover.
Franklin is survived by his son, Daniel Murray.
A funeral service will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Rev. James Gross officiating. A viewing will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 6-8 PM. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, no more than 50 people are allowed at a time and masks and social distancing are required.
