Gary Wayne Marshall
Gary Wayne Marshall, 56, of Hagerstown, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
Born November 11, 1957 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the Ellen Louise Whittington of Hagerstown and the late Thomas E. Whittington, Sr.
Gary worked at Manders Painting in Silver Spring for many years.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by brother, Timothy B. Whittington and his wife Bobbie Jo Whittington; three sisters, Ellen L. Whittington, Kathy J. Whittington, and Donna V. Patman; nine nephews; six nieces; 15 great-nephews and nine nieces, all residing Hagerstown.
Gary was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Whittington, Jr., and great niece, Madison K. Goetz.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
