Gene Vernon Krouse

Gene Vernon Krouse, 71, of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at Meritus Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Born June 22, 1948, in Hagerstown, he was son of the late Vernon E. and Madge Alberta (Thompson) Krouse.
He was a 1966 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
He was also proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea, during the Vietnam War.
Gene worked as a truck driver, delivering many different goods in the area.
Gene had many talents and was mechanically inclined. He enjoyed collecting Hess Trucks and model trains.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doreen Ellen (Miles) Krouse. They would be celebrating 40 years of marriage on January 5th. He is also survived by a niece, Angela DeVore of Californina.
A memorial service will be mentioned at a later date.
