Gerald Vincent Hann, 88, loving father and grandfather,of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, September 13, 2105 at NMS Healthcare, Hagerstown.
Born March 5, 1927 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Russell James and Helen Frances (McCoy) Hann; In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Jo (Lindsay) Hann; one sister, Janice Kunkleman.
Mr. Hann along with his wife owned and operated Peter Pan Dry Cleaners in Hagerstown.
He was a member of the B.P.O. of Elks No. 378, Hagerstown.
He is survived by son, Thomas "Tom" Hann and wife, Beth of Bel Air, Md.; daughter, Debra Hann McPherson of Hagerstown; grandson, Jeff Hann of Bel Air; brother, Russell J. Hann, Jr. and wife Sandy of Lynchburg, Va.; several nieces and nephews including a loving niece, Sharon Stottlemyer and husband Ralph of Hagerstown.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Mike Simane officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 - 1:00.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Gerald's name to the Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
