Gerald Wilbur Ingram, 67, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown.
Born, July 1, 1945, in Dargan, Md., he was the son of the late Arnold James and Lillie May (Jamison) Ingram.
Mr. Ingram retired from the Department of Energy in Gaithersburg, where he worked in the custodial-maintenance department.
He was Protestant by faith and was a lifetime member of The Improved Order of Red Men, Conococheague Tribe 84, Williamsport.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mary E. (Heiston) Ingram; one son, Gerald A. Ingram of Hagerstown; one daughter, Amanda D. Ingram of Hagerstown; one brother, Thurston Ingram of Dargan; two sisters, Whylmenia Knight of Dargan and Evelyn Longerbean of Millville, W.Va.; and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Granvil Ingram; and two sisters, Joyce Ingram and Juanita Saylor.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Justin Repp officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
