Glenn Edward Presgraves, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center South, Jacksonville, Florida.

Born September 14, 1932 in Baltimore, Md. he was the son of the late, James Presgraves and Pauline (Sellers) Presgraves Arvin and his step father, Edgar Arvin. In addition to his parents and step father he also was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Elaine (Harbaugh) Presgraves.

Mr. Presgraves worked as a postal clerk and was a well known sportscaster for WJEJ Radio, WHAG Radio and WHAG TV 25.

He was an US Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of the Auto Racing Club of Hagerstown, an inductee into the National Auto Racing Fan Club and the Washington County Sports Hall of Fame; he was host of the Cerebral Palsy Telethon for many years and was a former Grand Marshall for the Mummers Parade.

Mr. Presgraves is survived by three children, Steven A. Presgraves and wife Kimberly of Hagerstown, Sharon K. Forrest and husband, David of Boonsboro and Cynthia M. Presgraves Totten and husband Robert of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren, Laura Knight, Cody Snyder, Courtney Snyder, Eric Ecton, Lindsay Rhoderick, Pasquale Caiazzo, Sean Forrest, Anthony Caiazzo and Tyeler Presgraves.; eleven great grandchildren and numerous step brothers and step sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Shane Wilt officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
