Gloria Elizabeth Ritchie, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, May 13,2016 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born on August 22, 1931, in Myersville, Md. she was the daughter of the late Walter and Grace E. (Flook) Bidle. In addition to here parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alder Ritchie, Jr.; four brothers, Walter III, Grayson, Ronald and Bill Bidle; two sisters, Catherine Fogle and Grace Bowlus.
Gloria was a 1948 graduate of Middletown High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hagerstown as well as a member of the Fountainhead Country Club.
Gloria is survived by two daughters, Carol Flom and husband, Kevin of Manassas, Va. and Jayne Hill of Hagerstown; two granddaughters, Kelly Flom of Manassas, Va. and Michele Flom of Arlington, Va.; four brothers, Drexel, Arthur, Tom and Jerry Bidle; two sisters, JoAnna Sefsic and Cheryl March.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc. 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Edward Heim officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will be receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
