Gloria Lorraine Renner, 83, of Hagerstown passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center.
Gloria was born in Hagerstown, on July 8, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Aletha Marie (Roser) and Ira William Longnecker. In addition to her parents, Gloria is also preceded in death by her brother Lloyd Beard, Jr.; and two sisters, Emma Ambrose and Evelyn Routzahn.
Gloria was a proud military wife, homemaker, and a teacher assistant at West Point.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Ned Renner; one son Joe Renner and wife Kelly; one grandson Brian Renner; two granddaughters Ashlee Renner and Lindsey Renner; one great grandson Carter Smith; two brothers Larry D. Beard and wife Gloria, and Jacob Beard; and two sisters Delores Doody and Grace Irvin and husband David.
A funeral service will be held on Friday October 13, 2017 at 1 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc. 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
