Goldie Strickler Stoeber

Goldie Strickler Stoeber, 93, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Village at Robinwood in Hagerstown.
Born July 12, 1922, in Woodstock, VA., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Olive Strickler.
Prior to moving to Hagerstown in 1957, Goldie was one of the first employees to work at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. After marrying and settling in Hagerstown, she was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Stoeber was the wife of Jack Stoeber, and is survived by her son, Craig Stoeber and his wife Carol of Gaithersburg, MD.; her daughter, Karen Griemsmann and her husband Jon of Wadsworth, OH.; and three grandchildren, Philip Stoeber, John Stoeber, and Ashley Griemsmann.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Linden Strickler; and one sister, Genevieve Clem.
Friends will be received from 7-9pm on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Services and interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
