Grace Marie Mayhue

Grace Marie (Jones) Mayhue, 78, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at NMS Healthcare.
Born November 19, 1936 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Q. and Catherine (Rowe) Jones.
Grace was a 1953 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She worked as a caregiver and was also a hostess at McDonald's and Ryan's in Hagerstown.
Grace loved flowers of all kinds and always had an impressive flower bed. She also enjoyed the company of animals and crocheting.
Grace is survived by her loving husband, James Mayhue; two daughters, Cherie Trinchetto and husband Thomas of Sarasota, FL., Cathy Palmer of Frederick; a step son, Justin Mayhue and wife Diane of Hagerstown; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Shoemaker; twin infant sister and 11 brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, February 9, 2015 in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Jerry Lowans officiating. A reception will follow in Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, same address.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Grace's name to St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, 712 W Church St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
