Guy Kline, 62, of Hagerstown, passed away on Tuesday, February 2nd.
Guy was born on May 19, 1958 to Robert & Sylvia Kline in Lowell, MA. He spent part of his youth in Okinawa, Japan before settling in Hagerstown, MD. After graduating from South Hagerstown High School in 1976, he earned his associates degree from Hagerstown Junior College.
Guy’s passion for music was evident at a young age, and he found himself the drummer in a band called Friends & Spirit before finishing high school. Guy cultivated wonderful relationships in this stage in his life. Among these was one of the band’s singers, Theresa, whom he married in 1979.
Guy’s strong communication skills, humor, and general likability led to a career in sales. They also contributed to one of his great sources of joy - his large network of close friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, and his three children: Nicholas and Patricia Kline, Alexander and Christine Kline, Jillian & John Rouillard, and his grandchildren Ciriaco, Camillo, Charles, Annalia, Wesley, Daphne, Elliott, Evelyn and Timothy. He is also survived by his parents Robert and Sylvia Kline, sister and brother-in-law Bambi and Richard Boutelle, sister-in-law Crystal Kline, and father-in-law Alfred Gill. Guy was preceded in death by his brother Robert Kline & mother-in-law Rosemary Gill. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A mass in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 11:00 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church (masks and social distancing required).
