Harold Lloyd Bussard

Harold Lloyd Bussard, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at his home.
Born January 8, 1935 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Gardner Franklin and Bertha Florence (Ferguson) Bussard.
Harold had worked in maintenance at the Tannery and Brewer Plumbing.
He was a member of the Mount Calvary Church of God and a lifetime member of Redman's Club. Harold enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and sitting on his front porch talking with neighbors.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Shurl Lee (Vaughn) Bussard; four children, Michael Bussard, Thomas Bussard, both of Michigan, David Bussard and Christa Vaughn both of Hagerstown; a brother, Thomas Bussard of Sharpsburg; a sister, Faye Sheppard of Missouri; 14 grandchildren; and 8 eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Harold Bussard; and two brothers, Atlee and Merle Bussard.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Leon Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery with military honors.
Friends will be received from 5-7pm on Monday at the funeral home.
