Harrison L. Lushbaugh

Harrison L. "Tiny" Lushbaugh, 87, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Ravenwood Assisted Living, after a short illness.

Born January 3, 1933 in Hagerstown, Md. he was the son of the late Howard Lee Lushbaugh, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Lushbaugh.

He retired in 1994 after a long career as an active member and official for the Teamsters Local 992 and the Teamsters International.

He was an active participant in many local sports teams and a member of area social clubs. An avid golfer, he organized a number of tournaments and made many friends on the golf course.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Zelma (Jacobs) Lushbaugh; his son, Gerald Lushbaugh and wife, Alice; a daughter, Vicki Higgins; stepdaughter, Patty Powley and husband, Bill; stepson Terry Henson and wife, Pam; three sisters, Chris Grimes and husband, Gary, Connie Davis and Shirley Martin; Beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by five brothers, Gerald, William, Donald, Clarence and Howard; one sister, Diane Roberts; two step sons, James L. Henson, Jr. and Dennis Henson.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Saturday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
