Harry Oscar Sr. Hershey

Harry Oscar Hershey Sr., 80, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born July 24, 1931, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John Oscar and Eva Florence (Miller) Stottlemyer Hershey.
Harry attended Hagerstown Bible Church.
He retired in 1994 after working as a material handler at the Maryland Ribbon Co.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Mary Margaret (Miller) Hershey; two daughters, Ida M. Wetzel and husband, D. Wayne, and Mary Ann Hershey; two sons, Harry O. Hershey Jr. and James Wilson Hershey; two stepbrothers, Richard Lee Stottlemyer and Donald Lee Shank; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Eva F. Hershey; and his stepfather, Ernest L. Stottlemyer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Dale Carver and Mr. Jack Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received a half hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
