Hazel Marie Parker
March 20, 1958 — January 18, 2012
Hazel Marie Parker, 61, of Hagerstown, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, surrounded by loved ones at her home.
Born March 20, 1950, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Theresa M. (Duffy) Parker.
Hazel attended St. Markâ??s Lutheran Church.
She was a member of the Happy-Go-Lucky Bowling League.
Hazel loved to listen to music.
She found her true vocation working with the Washington County Human Development Council Medical Day Program.
She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones and caregivers, especially Gladys, Crystal and Racheida. A special thanks to all of the caregivers from Washington County Hospice.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was also preceded in death by a special friend, James Ridenour.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor David Kaplan officiating. Interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Immediately following the service, light refreshments will be served.
