Helen P. Boccone, 95, of Boonsboro, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016, in Winchester, Virginia.
She was born September 3, 1921 in New York.
Helen was a teacher for over 60 years in New York Public School System.
She was Greek Orthodox by faith.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, E. Boccone.
Mrs. Boccone is survived by one son, Paul Boccone; her friend and guardian, Star Dodson-Moreland and husband, James Dodson; a granddaughter, Destiny Boccone; a great-granddaughter, Denessa Dodson; close friends, Destiny Helser, Jessica Moreland, Katelyn Moreland, Landry Clark and Denessa Dodson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Inurnment will follow.
