Helen Virginia Stone, 85, of Williamsport, passed away Monday, February 10th, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born March 4, 1928 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Guy Francis and Frances Katherine (Wasson) Irwin .
Helen was a self employed housekeeper for numerous families in Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ulysses Garland Stone and is survived by a son Richard I. Irwin of Hagerstown, two daughters Donna K. Glunt of Funkstown, Lori A. Irwin - Smith and husband Danny of Hagerstown a son-in-law Terry G. Glunt of Williamsport, two grandsons Christopher Glunt of Williamsport and Charles E. Irwin of Hagerstown, two great grandchildren Christopher Glunt, Jr., and Katheryn Glunt of Williamsport, five step children; Cynthia N. Stone, Shelby J. Davis, Steven G. Stone, Richard A. Stone and Raymond C. Stone.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, with Pastor Michael Manthos officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
