Henrietta Alberta Kuhn of Colonial Park, Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 26, 2013.
Born in Hagerstown she was the daughter of Henry W. White, Sr. and Harriette G. White.
Henrietta was the devoted wife of Bernard Lee Kuhn who passed away in July of 1986.
She was a member of Black Rock Bible Church.
She attended Washington Bible College and Hagerstown Community College.
Henrietta also taught adult reading through the Literacy Council of Washington County and was a volunteer at Mount Hope Prison Ministry in Hagerstown.
She is preceded by her sisters, Marietta L. Sinn and JoAnn M. Eichelberger; and brother, Henry W. White, Jr.
Henrietta is survived by her two daughters, Pamela L. Johnston and husband Charles; and Paricia L. Crist, both of Hagerstown, MD.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Lynley L. Higgins and husband Robert; Tina M. McVicker , Jason S. Crist, Betty A. Hill and husband Roger and Robert L. Johnston.
She was lovingly known as "G.G." (Great Grandmother) by her ten great grandchildren; Sean and Elisabeth Crist; Lauren, Collin, Eryn and Evan McVicker; and Sarah, Benjamin, Daniel and Bethany Higgins.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Black Rock Bible Church, 9646 Crystal Falls Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21740 on Tuesday, July 2 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Robinson officiating.
Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to Black Rock Bible Church or Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Center, c/o Hagerstown Bible Church, 203 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
