Ina Margaret Sprecher

Ina Margaret Sprecher, passed away on Saturday, October 15, at Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Md.
Born March 6, 1928 in Richlands Va.she was the daughter of the late, Gus and Carrie (Mallory) French. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, Max E. Sprecher whom she married in 1969; one son, Whitley "Junior" U. Mills, Jr. in June of 1997; one brother, Sidney French; two sisters, Dorothy Sharrone and Dolly Clouser; a great grandson, Blake Shelton.
She attended schools in Richlands before moving to Hanover, Pa. and resided in Hagerstown, Md. since 1961.
She had previously held positions with Snyder's of Hanover, Peoples Drug Store and Two Guys Store in Hagerstown.
She enjoyed vacations for many years at Chincoteague Island each summer. She adored and loved her grandchildren and visits with them were always special. She enjoyed adventuring out to Yard Sales in Spring and Summer. Loved her cat, Miss Tilly and visits from her favorite dog, Sargeant.
Ina is survived by daughters, Trisha Rouse (Bill) of Martinsburg, W.Va., Margaret Bragg of Damascus, Va. and Judy Noland (Chuck) of Hagerstown; stepson, Robert Sprecher (Barbara) of Huntington, Md.; grandchildren, Teresa Cain, Lisa Jones, Trisha Carrie Britner, Sharon Rouse, Leon Bailey II, Chris Bailey Lee, Scott Bailey, Julie Mills and Katie Mills; step granddaughters, Heather Wheaton and Marsha Smith; sister, Lila Altizer of Belfast, Va.; 13 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In respect to her wishes, a private service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. There will be no viewing/visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington County Humane Society or Hospice of Washington County.
