Jane Marie Knode, 94, of Williamsport, Md., passed away, Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born May 7, 1927 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Ezra and Annie (Swope) Glenn. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, C. Frank Knode; a daughter, Rayetta Musgrove; three brothers, James Glenn, Edward Glenn, Sr. and Ezra "Bud" Glenn, Jr.; four sisters, Eleanor Muritz, Mary Kline, Beulah Kline and Margaret Upton; two great grandchildren, Zachary Brechbill and Caleb Conner.
Mrs. Knode attended Hagerstown high School. She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church. and retired from Clearview Nursing Home where she was an aide and activities director. Her hobbies were her family, reading her Bible and Florida vacations.
She is survived by her daughter, Tessa Buchanan and husband, John of Williamsport; five grandchildren, John Buchanan, Jr., Wendy Buchanan, Karen Buchanan,Anne Shafer and Stephen Musgrove; six great grandchildren, Jessica and Jordan Buchanan, Toby and Justin Brechbill, Sara Conner and Abigail Smith; nine great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Utha Glenn and many nieces and nephews including, Wayne Kline and wife, Gloria.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Dale Carver officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jane's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742 or to Holly Place, 268 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740
