Janet V. Nee Shillingberg

Janet V. "Nee" Shillingberg, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, June 9, 2017 at Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born January 29, 1933 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Chester and Ruth (Gift) Weddle. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Frederick Shillingberg; one brother and three sisters.
Mrs. Shillingberg had worked in the financial department for the Washington County Commission on Aging and previously worked as a bookkeeper for Forsyth's Storage and Transfer.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; an adopted daughter,Kim Doan; a granddaughter, Trang Cronise and husband, Matt and a great granddaughter, Mila Cronise.
At her request there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Janet's name to the Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
