Janet Willene Richards
Janet Willene Richards, 50, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at her home.
Born March 4, 1963 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Mack Dowell and Jocie Emmajean (Guilliams) Richards.
She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
Janet was a member of the Church of God Universal in Hagerstown.
She is survived by three sisters, Lois E. Henson of Waynesboro, Martha J. Grimm and husband Brad, Carolyn Sue Smith and husband Tad all of Hagerstown, Sarah Kay Chesney of Falling Waters; three brothers, Ronald Lewis Richards and wife Grace of Mansfield, OH, Danny Wilson Richards and wife Evelyn of Falling Waters, Earl Warren Richards of Hanover, MD.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Dowell Richards and two sisters, Barbara June Adkins and Alice Faye Vinson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Greg Tyler officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
