Jerry Lee Keplinger

November 27, 1953 — June 24, 2012

Jerry Lee Keplinger, lovingly known as â??Fuzz,â? 58, of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, after a short battle with cancer.

Born Nov. 27, 1953, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Glen and Edna (Mills) Keplinger.

He graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1972 and later went on to work as a machine operator at Beck Manufacturing of Waynesboro, and then later moved on to Gowen Motor Service of Hagerstown as a driver for the U.S. Mail.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jean (Geesaman) Keplinger of Waynesboro; two children, Bambi Patullo and husband, James Patullo, of Fayetteville, and Kerry Smith and wife, Kelly Smith, of Waynesboro. He has seven beloved grandbabies, Shade Smith, 14, Summer Smith, 12, Lilly Smith, 6, Cole Patullo, 5, Madelyn Patullo, 5, Nora Patullo, 2, and Anna Gale Patullo, 4 months.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by two sisters, Brenda Myers and husband, Kenny Myers of Smithsburg, Md., and Judy Kemp of Hagerstown. He also has many beloved nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 10 .a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.

As Jerry would say... in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to CASH ... his sense of humor never left him.
