Jill Floann (Miller) Conahan
Jill Floann (Miller) Conahan, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born February 19, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Ray S. and Gladys (Fogle) Miller.
Jill was a 1952 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was a long time employee of Ingram's Mens Store and was an accomplished florist at Abbie Janes Florist.
She attended St. Ann's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.
Jill was a loving mother and wife. She was an avid gardener, a wonderful cook and took great pride in creating needlepoint masterpieces. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Hugh James "Jim" Conahan, who died May 4, 2008; and her sister, Jacquolyn Staubs.
Jill is survived by her son, Jamie M. Conahan and wife Tricia of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Mike Miller of Glen Burnie, MD; and a nephew, Jacq Staubs of Spring Hill, FL.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD, with Father George Limmer officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
