Joann Elizabeth Sharon

Joann Elizabeth Sharon, 87, of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at her home.
Born on September 6, 1934, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Mae Elizabeth (Kline) and Joseph Charles Flanagan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Edward James Sharon; Daughter Andrea Kay Sharon; Grandson Justin Calhoun and Sister Joyce Bowers.
Joann graduated from Hagerstown High School, class of 1952.
Joann worked as a clerk at the MVA of Maryland until her retirement. She was a member of The Hub City Vineyard of Hagerstown.
She is survived by three sons; Mickey Calhoun and wife, Sue of Nokomis, FL, Duane Calhoun and wife, Judy of Bonita Springs, FL, and Joe Sharon and wife, Lorieof Hagerstown; Grandchildren, Adam Calhoun, Cory Calhoun, Dylan Sharon and Alexis Sharon; Great-Grandchildren, Avery Sharon, Carson Sharon and Hazel and Henry Calhoun; and three nieces, Crista, Candice and Cindy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 12 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Rick Vance officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends one hour prior.
