Johanna C. Joann Fouke

Johanna "Joann" C. Fouke, 88 of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2018. She was born November 15, 1929, in Hagerstown, MD to the late William and Charlotte Shrader.
Joann was also preceded in death by her brothers, William B. Shrader, Jr. and Edwin K. Shrader,
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 70 years, John R. Fouke; a daughter, Belinda Samples; son and daughter-in-law, Preston and Jackie Fouke; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Joann is also survived by sisters, Virginia Rodgers and Judy Harshman; and brothers, Guy and Calvin Shrader.
She graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1947 and dedicated her life to her family, as a stay-at-home mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was the glue that kept the family together.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Rest Haven Funerall Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Chaplain John Sumpter officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
