John C. Mastrounni, 70, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Sept. 8, 1940 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles Presgraves and Elizabeth (Mastrounni) Wollard.
John was a cook at the Potomac Fish and Game Club in Williamsport, Md.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth N. (Long) Mastrounni of Spencer, N.C.; two daughters, Earlene Smith of Spencer, and Karen Buchanan of Salisbury, N.C.; three sisters, Marlene Mills, Carolyn Frazier and Marilyn Wollard, all of Hagerstown; several nieces and nephews; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Mills.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Brad Kefauver officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
