John William Little, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away at his home on April 21, 2018. Born May 2, 1928, he was the son of the late George and Ethel (Isanogle) Little.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 46 years, Dorothy Bloyer Little; brother, David Little; and sister, Eleanor Little.
John was a U.S. veteran, serving in the Army Air Force from 1946 to 1949.
He is survived by his second wife, Nancy Little; sons: John P. Little, Daniel L. Little (Pat Kauffman), and Michael L. Little (Misty); daughters: A. Diane Little and Ruth N. Roach (David); stepsons: John Bowers and Vernon Bowers; step-daughter, Rachel Molder; and brother, P. Joseph Little. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, five sisters-in-law and various nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 11:00 am at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, with Pastor Doug Shenberger. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to Hospice of Washington County, Inc., 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
