Joseph Kevin O'Connor

Joseph Kevin O'Connor, 60, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, November 5, 2012 at his home.

Born May 3, 1952 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Albert Leo O'Connor, Jr. and Kathryn (Crilley) O'Connor.

Mr. O'Connor was employed as a supplier quality engineer for Volvo/Mack Trucks, Hagerstown.

He was a member of Haven Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, the NRA and the Waynesboro Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pamela T. (Hahn) O'Connor; two sons, Daniel O'Conner and wife Jessica of Coatsville, Pa. and Peter O'Connor of Hagerstown; two twin grandchildren, Claire and Colin O'Connor; two brothers, Albert O'Connor and wife Addie of Hagerstown and Patrick O'Connor and wife Beth of State College, Pa.; one sister, Myra Russell of Bradenton, Fla.; many sisters in law and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a loving father and grandfather who loved to work on his Cub Cadet tractors, working in his yard, spending time in the woods and sitting around the campfire. He was a master of many skills and a dedicated friend to many.

A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at Haven Lutheran Church, Hagerstown with Pastor Linda M. Alessandri officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to services at the church.
