Junior "June Bug" White, 73, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, where he had been a resident for several years .
He was born on October 14, 1942 in Cumberland, Maryland.
Junior was a former resident of the Human Development Council and will be sadly missed by his friends and family from both agencies, especially Juanita "mom", Michelle, Bob and Joseph.
Junior was formerly employed with the Lawn Crew at HDC and also helped with janitorial needs.
He will be remembered as a very social and friendly man. He loved to sing, horseback ride, and take vacations; especially to the beach. Junior was a "foodie" and his favorite was bologna sandwiches and coca-cola.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Mark Mooney officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service and again after the service.
