Katherine Erma Lee Holland

Katherine Erma Lee Holland, 86, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, December 23, 2016 at her home.
Born August 1, 1930 in Boonsboro, Md. she was the daughter of the late, John E. and Freeda R. (Wentling) Socks. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, FSC William M. Holland; her companion of many years, Jack R. Billman; a brother, Stanley L. Socks and a sister, Earlene V. Kinzer.
Mrs. Holland was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and a very charitable person donating to many organizations.
She was a 50 year member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by five children, William E. Holland (Mary), Deborah K. Golden (Ronnie), Judy D. Lowe (Chuck), Ruth Ann Moore (Dave) and Jeffery L. Billman (Tracy); two brothers, Charles E. Socks and Ralph E. Socks; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Curtis Ehrgott officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
