It is with great sadness that the family of Kathryn "Kathy" Teresa Winkler (Darcy), 61, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, announce that she passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born on October 2, 1957, in Huntington, New York, to parents, William Darcy and Kathryn "Dida" Darcy (Policano), Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Dida; brother, Billy; nephew, Jason; and beloved dogs, Frank the Fixer and Louis. Kathy is survived by her father, William; life partner, Arthur Rozes; daughter, Carley Dellinger, and son-in-law, Chris Dellinger; son, Zachary Rozes and girlfriend, Brooke Jerin; brothers, Tommy Darcy and Jimmy Darcy; sisters, Patty Kenney, Christine Darcy, and Mary Darcy; granddaughter Kennedy Grace Dellinger, who affectionately referred to Kathy as "Nonna"; many nieces, nephews and cousins; Morkie Bobby, and Sun Conures, Zazu and Lulu.
Kathy was an amazing cook, the most generous soul, and the life of the party. She would give the shirt off her back for a stranger. She loved to thrift shop and find creative ways to reuse everyday items, but more than anything else, she loved her family and friends dearly.
The family will receive friends at Rest Haven Cemetery at noon on Sunday, December 2, 2018, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be at a later date.
