Kathy Jean Whittington, 52, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born November 23, 1963 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of Ellen Louise (Marshall) Whittington of Hagerstown and the late, Thomas Edward Whittington. In addition to her father she also was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Ricky Lynn Morris; three brothers, Thomas Edward Whittington, Jr., Gary Wayne Marshall and Timothy Brian Whittington.
In addition to being a homemaker, Kathy also had worked in housekeeping at Golden Living Center, Hagerstown.
She is survived by one son, Derrick Whittington and wife, Krystal; one daughter, Amanda Socks and husband, Ryan; two sisters, Ellen Louise Whittington and Donna Virginia Patmon; four grandchildren, Aubrey, Logan, Haylee and Chance, all of Hagerstown.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor John Torrence officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Friday from 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
