Leonard A. Bob Miller, Sr.

Leonard Albert "Bob" Miller, Sr., 81, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Ravenwood Nursing Care Center, Hagerstown.
Born July 14, 1934 in Cumberland, Maryland he was the son of the late, Phillip and Mildred (Fahey) Miller. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by four siblings, Thomas "Sonny" Miller, Margaret "Sug" Miller, Phillip "John" Miller and Norma "Dic" Miller.
Mr. Miller was an electrician and retired from Washington County as an electrical inspector.
He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, Hagerstown.
He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and installing and running sound.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Particia G. (Combs) Miller; two sons, Len Miller (Peg) of Rixeyville, Va. and Rick Miller (Jean) of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, James Miller (Lavonne) of Woodbine, Md.; three sisters, Phyillis Izzette of LaVale, Md., Linda Miller of Cumberland and Ruth Athey (Bill) of Hanover, Pa.; five grandchildren, Andrew Miller and Katie Clatterbuck, both of Rixeyville, Jeremy Miller (Jessica), Danielle Miller and Bethany Miller, all of Springfield; four great grandchildren, Gabe Clatterbuck of Amissville, Va., Karson, Hudson and Caswell Miller, all of Springfield.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Curt Snyder officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown 21742 or to the Potomac District, Assemblies of God World Mission,14525 John Marshall Hwy., Gainesville, VA 20155.
