Lewis Edward (Louie) Manford

Lewis Edward "Louie" Manford, 59, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away, Monday, May 11, 2020, at his home.
Born May 14, 1960 in Hagerstown, Md. he was the son of Alice Arlene (McCarney) Manford of Hagerstown and the late, James Willard "Jim" Manford Sr. In addition to his father he also was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Manford, Jr.
He was Protestant by faith.
Lewis had worked in the construction field as a concrete finisher.
He was a free spirited man and a former member of ABATE, Washington County Chapter. A Harley Davidson enthusiast and an avid drag racer at Mason-Dixon.
Lewis is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sherry L.(Palmer) Manford; one son, Jeremy L. Manford and wife Summer; two granddaughters, Trenton and Novalynn; one brother, Leslie E. "Casper" Manford and wife, Wendy; one sister, Adra E. Lapole and husband, James; several nieces, one nephew, a host of friends and his dog, Maggie.
At his request he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
