Linda Ann Rowe Ahmed

Linda Ann (Rowe) Ahmed, 67, of Germantown, formerly of Hagerstown, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, MD.
Born January 10, 1948, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of Russell L. Rowe of Chambersburg and the late Jean (Gordon) Rowe.
Linda was a 1966 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She graduated with a Bachelors degree from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC.
In addition to her father, she is also survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Naim Ahmed; two daughters, Tehmina Murray and husband Charles of Charlotte, N.C., Sadia Robinson and husband Taylor of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Jill Dizio and husband Tom of Marco Island, FL.; a granddaughter, Jordan Taylor Murray; and a grandson, Brady Patrick Murray.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to the Montgomery County Humane Society, 601 S. Stonestreet Ave., Rockville, MD 20850-4131.
