Lois Elizabeth Eardley
July 27, 1931 — May 2, 2012
Lois Elizabeth Eardley, 80, loving wife of Russell C. Eardley Jr., devoted mother of Pamela Eardley Clifton and Paula L Eardley, went home peacefully to our heavenly Father on May 2, 2012.
Lois was born July 27, 1931, in Hagerstown, Md., daughter of William Franklin Bailey and Lena Irene Semler. She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church.
She was the grandmother of Mark S. Clifton II, Beth S. Crumpler, Laura M. Clifton and Sarah L. Binette, and the great-grandmother of Jaden, Aliyah and Josiah.
Friends and family are welcome Sunday, May 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, Md. A service of life celebration will be at Christ Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, on Monday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m., with a reception to follow. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 216 N. Cleveland Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
