Margaret Jean Hawbaker

Margaret Jean Keefer Hawbaker, 92, of Hagerstown, entered into Heaven on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 at Ravenwood Nursing Home.
Born August 5, 1925 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Meta Brown and Howard Shilling.
Jean retired from King's Dept. Store and the Washington County Health Dept.
She was a member of the Longmeadow Church of the Brethren.
Jean is survived by sons, Joseph Keefer and wife Jill, Steve Keefer and wife Jackie, Gregory Keefer and wife Peggy; five grandsons, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband Joseph Keefer; second huband Omar Hawbaker; and a brother, Howard Shilling.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 3:00pm in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Paul Leatherman, III, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
