Margaret Lillian Nicol

Margaret Lillian (Menzie) Nicol, 88, of Hagerstown, went to be in the radiant presence of her Lord on, Friday, July 4, 2014, at Ravenwood Nursing Home, Hagerstown.
Born November 12, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late, Albert Menzie and Lillian (Cibula) Ramsey. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by a brother, Robert D. Menzie.
Mrs. Nicol was a homemaker and a member of the LifeHouse Church Bethel and the Hagerstown Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Nicol; five children, James W. Nicol, Jr. and wife, Karin, of Hagerstown, Daniel R. Nicol and wife, Marie, of Falling Waters, W.Va., Sally N. Widmeyer and husband, John, of Hagerstown, Jonathan Nicol and wife Caroline, of Charleston, W.Va. and Suzy L. Nicol and husband, Mike, of Baltimore; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Curt Snyder officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Washington County, Doey's House Campaign, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, 21742.
