Margaret Louise Marg Tosten

Margaret Louise "Marg" (Brenner) Tosten, 88, of Hagerstown, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born January 14, 1927, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Brenner and Florence (Wissinger) Long.
Marg worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling and was on several leagues at Long Meadow and Southside Bowling Alley.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Elmer Earl "Jake" Tosten, who died on August 29, 2015; and a step-sister, Viola Wahl.
She is survived by a daughter, Louise Ann Smith; three sons, Howard E. Tosten and partner Elizabeth Baker, Jake J. Tosten, Richard A. Tosten; a former daughter-in-law, Jennie Avey; six grandchildren, Tommy Hoover, Amanda Younker, Tristen Tosten, Michelle Tosten, Andy Smith, Lesa Lewis; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark Mooney officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service and again for a lunch reception after the burial at the funeral home.
