Marlene Linda Gay, 62, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at her residence.
Born Aug. 30, 1947, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Pauline (Rubeck) Wiles.
She was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Hagerstown and retired from the Washington County Board of Education as a cafeteria worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle E. Gay.
She is survived by a daughter Clorissa K. Wilder of Hagerstown; sisters, Mary Roberts of Hagerstown and Nancy Barthalow of Blairs Valley, brothers; Gary E. Wiles of Clear Spring and James Wiles of Delaware; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Nellie Shelly and Dorothy Stotler, and a brother, William Wiles.
There will be no visitation
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Samuel C. Fendley officiating.
