Marvin Edward Hollinger

Marvin Edward Hollinger, 82, of Maugansville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Aug. 6, 1929, in Cearfoss, Md., he was the son of the late Martin and Daisy (Myers) Hollinger.
Marvin was a member of Maugansville Bible Brethren Church.
He had worked as a custodian at Harvest Baptist Church in Hagerstown.
Surviving him are his loving wife, Arbutus M. Hollinger; a daughter, Nancy A. Perrow and husband, Robert "Bo" of Cearfoss; a son, Donald C. Hollinger and wife, Susan, of Greencastle, Pa.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Boone; and a brother, Charles Hollinger.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Jeff Winstead and Pastor Dick Heckman officiating. Interment will follow in Broadfording Bible Brethren Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
