Marvin Roscoe Baker, Jr., 69, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his home.

Born June 14, 1944, in Downsville, he was the son of the late Marvin Roscoe, Sr. and Anna May (Moats) Baker.

Marvin was a veteran of the United States Army.

He retired as a supervisor at the Garden State Tannery in Williamsport. Marvin had a green thumb and loved to garden.

He is survived by his son, Mark Baker; a daughter, Michelle Harshman Little, both of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Justin Langlotz of Greencastle, Miranda Harshman, Dustin Harshman, both of Hagerstown; two great-grandchildren, Ariel and Robert Langlotz of Greencastle; two very good friends, Jim Davis of State Line, PA and Chris Hosfeld of Hagerstown; two nieces, Barb and Brenda Williams; and a nephew, Bradley Williams all of Hagerstown.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown.
