Mary Catherine Harp

Mary Catherine (Smith) Harp, 73, of Williamsport, died on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born April 16, 1939 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Arlene Virginia (Moats) Smith.
She attended Smithsburg High School.
Mary worked in the kitchen as a manager and food preparer for over 25 years at Shoney's in Hagerstown.
She loved to play bingo at the Redman Club in Williamsport.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Jackie L. Harp, who died on November 11, 2012.
Mary is survived by a son, Wayne Allan Harp; two daughters, Barbara Jean Snyder and Susan Ann Reed; seven grandchildren, Kari and Steven Kirby, Jacquelyn Ernde, Sean Baumgardner, Heather Spade, Christopher Caton and Dezirae Ferrell; and eight great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Blake Ernde, Tylar Murphy, Serenity and Sophia Kirby, Deegan and Driver Spade, and Haiden Caton.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
