Mary Ernestine (Exline) Yost, 95, lifetime resident of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Village of Robinwood.
Born November 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Elias and Estella Pearl (Hill) Exline.
Mary worked for many years as an assembler at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown.
She was Episcopalian by faith. Mary was a member of the Maugansville Senior Club.
Mary was very well rounded. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mary also loved to travel all over the USA with her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Lawrence Edgar Yost, WWII veteran, who died March 24, 1980; a sister, Phyllis Jean Exline; and her brother, P. Donald Exline.
Mary is survived by her aunt; nephews; and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home Inc., 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. Philip E. Unger officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 14253 Exline Rd, Hancock, MD.
Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
